An 8-week hearing loss reflection journal: Life is a journey and so is our hearing loss...This journal is a place to reflect, cope, and share the experiences we have to go through with hearing loss. It is so important to allow ourselves to digest the frustrations we have to deal with on a daily basis and create notes on finding ways to learn and grow. Not everyone feels comfortable sharing openly about their hearing loss so I hope you can find comfort in this journal.
About the author, April Corner:
In 2016, April was diagnosed with Otosclerosis, a form of hearing loss caused by an abnormal growth of the bone in the middle ear. It started off mild/moderate, however, it is now moderate/severe and is progressively getting worse. April wears hearing aids to support her hearing loss.
April has used her hearing loss journey as a way to spread awareness and connect with others in the hearing loss community.
